Sterling Silver AF is a 6 yr old grey Shagya Stallion. He was the highest scoring stallion on the 2006 NASS Shagya Breed Inspection. The judges comments are as follows: Harmonious stallion with long lines, but still developing. Masculine head, good long neck, well pronounced withers, good topline. Good sporthorse croup. Walk with energy and swinging back. Trot free with rhythm and elasticity. Good canter, still developing and a bit unbalanced. Fine character. Approved for Shagya breeding. Sterling spent 5 days with Monty Roberts at his Flag is Up Farms. Monty, who had never heard of Shagyas, commented on his showing generosity, a willingness to learn, and high level of intelligence. Sterling should mature at 16 h. He will have a career in both endurance and eventing. Sterling is currently in dressage training with Susann Regalmuto.  Sterling's first 2 foals are black and bay, so he can produce color.
